Description

Applications for the 2023 Young Professionals in Public Health (YPPH) Programme are open.

The YPPH programme trains emerging public health leaders through three programme bands.

The Virtual Internship Programme (VIP)
The Health Literacy Leadership Programme (HLLP)
The Design Equity Action Leadership (DEAL) Fellowship

These three programmes are for professionals between the ages of 20 and 40 years and last for three months. They are free for selected participants. A major component of the courses is the integration of planetary health in the offerings so as to stimulate participants' interest and grow a community of practice for the PH body of knowledge. The programme is also open for partnership with organisations working to strengthen the knowledge ecosystem of Planetary Health. WAIPH is a member of the Planetary Health Alliance's West Africa regional Hub and Interdisciplinary Expert Center for Climate Change and Health (IECCCH) -HAW -Hamburg.
