Description

Seeking 3-Year Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow in Climate Change Education and Communication In 2022, Duke announced its Climate Commitment, with one of its primary pillars being the development of climate change fluency among all members of the Duke community. Central to this effort is the infusion of scholarly conversations about climate change throughout the undergraduate curriculum. The Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University is seeking a talented early-career scholar with an interest in climate change education and communication for a three year appointment to: (1) support the University Course “Let’s Talk About Climate Change” (learn more at LINK); (2) develop their own undergraduate course in climate change as a follow-up to this survey course; and (3) to work as a liaison between Duke faculty engaged in climate change scholarship and staff in the Office of Learning Innovation, the Office of Alumni Engagement, the Office of Communication, and Duke Online Learning in developing innovative climate change content for broader audiences.
